Wow! We actually have the Super Bowl in our city. There will be thousands upon thousands of people coming
to this one event, and the streets will be crawling with people that have never been here before. This one
event has taken over ten years to prepare for by the organizers. Can you imagine that? What a long period
of time to host something that will be over in a few hours. I guess you could say that this has been a priority
event for many people over a long period of time.
The last Sunday evening in January, we showed the film, "Courageous." It is an outstanding film with an
outstanding message. Many who have seen it have had their lives changed and their relationships with their
families have been altered forever. It took several years to plan this movie, to put it together, to film it, and
then to present it to the audiences that would view it. It was the priority event for many people who wanted to
help people change their lives and relationships to line up with the Scripture. And they have done a fine job
of doing that.
Long ago, another plan was enacted. It was put together by One Who loved His creation and wanted them to
spend all eternity with Him. This plan was one that would bring love, joy, peace, comfort, and life to all who
would receive it. The plan was actually timeless, we cannot say how long ago it really was developed. And we
cannot realize how long it will last, because we cannot measure the length of eternity. But, we can know that it
was put together by One Who loved us all so deeply, One Who wanted all to understand this tremendous
love. And it will always be there for all to accept, if they want it. It goes like this: "For God so loved the world
that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." This
was God's priority. You are God's priority. Accept this plan-it is AAA+!
